Hi all,

I'm currently studying the Diploma of Nursing (EEN), and due to finish at the end of this year. Already I'm starting to try and figure out my best approach to finding work come registration. While I'm currently studying in Melbourne, I really want to find work ( and relocate ) in a regional setting, in VIC or NSW.

I'm aware of government graduate programs, although they do appear to be geared towards RNs rather than ENs. Other non government hospitals in various regional centres also appear to be aimed at RNs.

So, as a to-be EEN, what would be my best option for finding rural employment? Are there many employment opportunities for EEN in regional centres? I also wish to continue study with the Bachelor of Nursing on a part time basis.

Thank you!
