Hello, I'm a qualified EN studying towards the RN degree. Will I need to complete another grad year, or will this be at the discretion of my employer to decide if it is required or not? Does anyone who has gone from EN to RN have any experience with this? Thank you.

Long story short, NO!  All of my colleagues at work who did EN to RN; none did a RN grad program - in saying that, most of them did the EN grad program when they first came to work at the hospital.

The requirement for a graduate year after completing a nursing degree can vary depending on the country and region where you are seeking employment. In some areas, completing a graduate year or residency program is mandatory for all new nursing graduates, while in others it may be at the discretion of the employer or not required at all.

I would recommend checking with your nursing regulatory authority or professional organization to determine the specific requirements in your area. Additionally, you may want to speak with experienced nurses or nurse educators who have gone through this process to gain insights into what to expect and how to best prepare for your transition from EN to RN.

The requirements for completing a graduate year or program after completing the RN degree may vary depending on the country or region in which you are practicing nursing. In some places, completing a graduate program is a mandatory requirement for all newly graduated registered nurses, while in others it may be at the discretion of the employer. By the way, does anyone know the foundation repair cost and dallas texas bathroom remodeling?

Hello and congratulations on pursuing your RN degree as a qualified EN! To answer your question, whether or not you will need to complete another graduate year will depend on a few factors such as the requirements of the regulatory body in your state or country and the policies of your employer.
