Hey everyone

Extremely interested in becoming a nurse.

I Left school when I was 16yo and did a plumbing apprenticeship and have been working in that industry ever since.

I'm now 26yo and wondering If I can enroll in a course here in Melbourne, or would I have to do some prerequisite study, ie:VCE. Any Information about this would be much appreciated.

Thankyou :)

Hiya Jesse,

I'm in a similar situation. I left school first term on Year 10 (the soonest time I could leave - hated school)

I've been working since I was 15 and am going the mature age entry. I'm sitting a Vetassess test on Friday and have applied to RMIT, after going to an open day and getting lots of information :)

Hope that helps!

Sounds just like me! I left school the earliest I could and worked right up until I had kids but haven't worked since. I was terrible at school and so scared of the test, how did you go mummastudentnurse? And do you know if its the vetassess test we have to do in Qld?
