Things to study up on before commencing your first semester of BN

Hey guys just wanting some advice on what you wish you studied up on prior to commencing your first semester of uni?

I know there are recommended texts etc, but is there any specifics that you think back to now and go 'I wish I had of read up on this?'

Im beginning my BNS at JCU this June!
