I'm looking at doing a cert 3 or 4 in aged care but am becoming confused with all the providers out there, just wanting some feedback on providers and how you found the course on offer and finding placement after completing the course?

Congratulations on taking the test.  That is awesome.  I know that you will do well on the test because you have come so far in your career and to make it to the testing is a wonderful thing.  I know that when I was in nursing school and did a geriatric rotation, I took the test and I was so relieved and glad that I did.  It was because of that test and experience that I worked in adult day care center in a skilled nursing facility as my first nursing job when I graduated from college.  I have an article that has information regarding care for geriatrics:

I wish you the best.

No matter which service provider you choose for the Cert 3 course, the most important thing is to check if the provider's network is strong enough to get workplacement on time for its student upon completing the classroom course. Without completing the 120 hrs workplacement, you will not be able to graduate. ( it is almost impossible for student to look for workplacement themselves under normal circumstances). My personal experience, my service providers have me waited for 2 months for my workplacement after I completed my classroom course. i heard that some students have even waited longer than 2 months. it is totally misleading to say we could complete the course in 10 weeks ( 7 weeks classroom studies plus 3 weeks workplacement ).
