Hi everyone,

I am currently 2 years into a 3 year bachelor course. At the end of my course, I'm wanting to do nursing with the aim of becoming a midwife. My question is, do you think it's better for me to do a 4 year double degree in nursing/midwifery, so at the end of 4 years I can do my grad year in midwifery? Or do you think I should do a 2 year graduate entry master of nursing science, which is a bachelor of nursing accelerated in 2 years, then do my grad year and apply for post grad midwifery? I'm worried about the second option and the difficulty of doing post grad midwifery as iv heard its competitive to get into. How hard is it to, As a Postgrad midwifery student, get hospitals to let you do placements there?

Thanks for any advice
