I was injured 4 years ago in an ED department a drunk, drug affected pateint attacked me with force shatering my right shoulder, tearing the bisep muscle off the bone, he got away with it and Iam left to pick up the pieces, I can no longer nurse anymore, I am one of the lucky ones as I was offered employment through my employer as reception for the education dept, we have just started legal proceedings for compo but this wont help all that much. I am wondering how others cope with these sort of things.
