Hi Cheryl I look forward to meeting you at the first Residential College:) Tanya - all the best to you with your full time studies - we can still support and help each other with our study even though we are doing it at different times. You can send private messages to people, so that would probably be the best place to exchange email addresses All the best everyone:) Elaine

Hello, I am also starting in August intake, doing it part-time in between family commitments, but really looking forward to getting started. I am sure I will meet alot of you at the January residential school, and if anyone wants to share accomodation costs close to the Tafe, will be happy to do so....I am in NSW so deciding if I drive or fly up. Also, looking at options for textbooks, does anyone know if we can borrow the books needed from any other Tafe institute? Just trying to cut my costs down abit by not buying new. Thanks, Julie

Morning all, im enrolled full time online starting in August, I studied a year full time throught CDU as an RN student managed to pass everyrhing but due to financial burden switched to Tafe, I had to pay all myfees upront due to only having permanent residency.I managed toget credit for 8 subjects and asI have already done a weeks clinical teaching block and 3week placement in an aged care facility I may get credited for this too, it would be great to keep in touch with other students to swap ideas and help each other as im sure at times we will all get brain block!!! anyway good luck everyone and I hope i get to meet some of you. Regards Brian

Hi Elaine I have just enrolled in the Aug class too, full-time! I have a few credit transfers from my previous studies so that should take some pressure off! I live in Darwin, Married with the 3 kids so will require a little juggling but who said the road to success has to be a smooth one Im keen to explore the option of shared accommodation for the resi units if any one is keen Hope to meet you all soon Marty

Hi everyone, I'm Paul, live in Melbourne and have two young kids. I am already enrolled as a part time student at GCIT in the March intake (Group J). Due to a recurrent workplace injury, I was not able to attend Residential School in September (not medically cleared to attend), and as such I have completed my studies and theory assessments in this semester, but will attend Residential School, pending medical clearance, in January to complete the rest of the workshops and practical assessments. I will then remain in Group K to complete the course. I look forward to meeting everybody in Group K in January - especially those of us from Melbourne. We may be able to meet up afterwards to help each other with our studies. Paul
