Hi All,
I have been trying to get into this course for some years now and succesfully completed my Assitant in Nursing in 2008! I had recently applied for a scholarship into this course as at TAFE NSW the cost is over $11,000. So, i found out last week that i have an interview this coming Wednesday!!! This is all very exciting as they are only offering 14 scholarships in my whole area, so it would be great if i got it!

What kind of questions do you think i can expect to recieve during this interview??? Is there anything i could do to help prepare me better for wednesday???

Hi Anthea

Good luck with your interview today. I recently finished Cert III and was hoping to apply for a scholarship for the EN course next year. I am waiting for TAFE to get back to me with the details, they said everything was 'up in the air' re getting a scholarship. How did you get your offer and when did you apply?

Hi Mary,

The interview was a couple of weeks ago now, and i only found out today that YES i got it!!!! There were 14 scholarships on offer in the whole new england nsw area and i got one!!! I am so happy!!

I found out about the scholarships by keeping an eye on the tafe website, they included a link so that i could dowload all the paper work and then all i had to do was submit it! I got a call for an interview about 2 months later, and its now taken them 3 weeks to get back to me with a decision! Its been a pretty long process!!!

I kept hounding people trying to find out info too, but nobody seemed to know anything, my only advice is, to keep at it!!! Ask them if there is a mailing list you can go on, so they notify you when the scholarships come up!
