Hello everyone. I have just started my studies in Diploma in Nursing through the Bris Nth TAFE. It's all external, no classes. I'm already struggling with HLTEN401B, I haven't studied to such extent for years, am in my 40's with 3 young children and work part time.

Just wondering if there is anyone out there who has completed the course recently and can offer any help/tutoring? I would be willing to pay for some one on one tutoring to get me ahead of things.

Alissa_een, I am just going into my second semester. I too found it hard at the beginning, but push through and suddenly you start "getting" it. I am also in my 40's and have found that I was trying to cover more than was expected. Keep looking at the study guides and what you are expected to know.

There was a time I was going to drop out. I really didn't think I was coping. My self confidence took a beating and the only thing that stopped me from dropping out is that I knew my self confidence would plummet further if I did. Now six months on, I love it.

Good Luck!
