Hi guys! I'm a newly qualified EEN from NZ. I'm registered with AHPRA but find it impossible to get a job because of lack of enough experience. Most employers want at least a year, some two years (I have 6 month of placements only). Does anybody know of a grad program available in Townsville? Seen one at the hospital but that's for RNs. Thanks.

try looking into local newspaper ads, you might get lucky there. Out here in Melbourne, there is a need for EEN but surely and mostly Aged Care, another option is Rehab Centres hire EEN now. Looking forward to finish my course this novemberX-D

Thanks for that. Never thought of checking out rehab places. In my view, the course is structured in the wrong way. I spent 12 months in class learning theory but just 6 months on practical placement. It should be the other way around!!
