I recently graduated from my Diploma of Nursing course in June and applied for my registration online on the 24 July but AHPRA only received my documentation on the 13 August. I know the process is (supposed to be) 4-6 weeks but does anyone know of a way I could make this process a bit faster? I have had a successful 1st job interview and the company has invited me to the second round of interviews this week. I had great rapport with the recruiting manager and I seriously feel as if I have this job in the bag - the only thing holding me back is my pending registration. I mentioned in my first interview that I haven't got regestration yet but I had applied for it a few weeks ago and there should be no issues in holding it up.
If I call or go into the AHPRA offices, explain that I have a job offer and put up a fuss, am I likely to get my reg sooner??
