Hi everyone,
I am an endorsed Div 2 and I am considering doing some agency work.
At the hospital where I work agency nurses (div 2) cant give out medications, is this the case in most hospitals?
Also in nursing homes, how many residents on average would you be admininstering to, is there much support from a Div 1 and what other duties do you have during the shift?
Looking forward to your replies.

Sandy, some hospitals like Cabrini dont have the policies yet for agency's to administer meds.

Ive worked there through agency and not given meds..

I work in nursing home doing meds.. Probably set yourself from anywhere from 25-35 patients to give meds to in the morning

Add to that wounds ad paperwork and you got yourself a busy shift. Also, making sure the PCA's are doing their jobs correctly
