I just happened by this site and thought I'd sign up. I completed my EN training over 20yrs ago at the RBH. Haven't nursed in an Hospital since '87. I'm still registered with QN and working in an allied field. I would love to get back into nursing and am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to a medication endorsement course and give me some info on it, i.e where, duration, cost, and most importantly is it worth the bother, do I need to be working in a hospital to do the course or is this something I can do then go out and find a job?

Call your local TAFE. Yes it is worth the bother if you want to be up to date with all of the rest of EEN's. If you just want to continue as a EN you will miss out working as a EEN. Now EEN's give injections, insulin and more. EN is like working as a PCA/AIN.
