Hi Everyone -
I'm a RN with 10 years experience looking to move to California in the US. My partner has a job offer there so I will get a work visa through his employers. I'm just wondering if anyone else has moved to the US and sat the NCLEX-RN? I'm finding the whole process really daunting. My other problem is that I don't work in a highly clinical are - haven't done so in many years. My main areas of expertise are sexual health, justice health, youth mental health and drug and alcohol. Most of the agencies over there only want you if you've got recent med/surg/crit care experience. Has anyone got any words of wisdom for me?
