Welcome to the Graduate Nurses Forum.

Thanks for starting.I am new in this field.I am bit confused about enzyme and a catalyst.Can any one explain it?

Hi nitinajwani

Enzymes are like proteins, they have a kind of job to change the chemical processes in the body..such as your digestive enzymes :) Act of the process that an enzyme does called catalytic action, then that enzyme becomes catalyst.

I hope this explains those two words that you were making inquiries. :)
