Next month I have to deliver a 15 minute presentation in front of my educator and the other grads.

Now I am particularly nervous about oral presentations because not only do I get nervous but I literally choke up and my voice cuts out and I end up spluttering to get the words out. I am working on techniques to get over this and really, I have no choice but to do it, but I am freaking out a little bit.

The topic will be a case study on a patient so I will try to make it interesting and as graphic as possible lol. (without actually disclosing pts identity of course...by this I mean using pictures and diagrams..not of the actual patient).

Anyway within your grad program (or any program) have any of you had to do this? Did you go with the time limit given or just gather the information required and however long it took was however long it took?

How do you overcome the nerves if you do get nervous?

Oh one more question in regards to this...if you did have to present a case study, did you find that these were interesting? Were ppl keen to hear each other speak about their experiences?
