I am new to the site and thought i would inttoduce myself and see if there are any one out there up for a chat :)  My name is Tanisha and i am studying Enrolled Nursing Division 2 at the TAFE in Townsville in North Queensland. I am 23 in April this year and am in my second semester so only this one and then one more semester to go until i graduate at the end of the year. On completing my Enrolled Nursing i aim to then go onto university to do my registered nursing :) if any one would like to chat drop me an email : panda.jimmy.69@gmail.com

and no it does not have to be nursing related even if you just want to say hi!

Hi Jimmy :)

I am currently studying Dip of Nursing (EEN) at TAFE also. I have just completed my 1st semester and start prac in 2 weeks.  How have you found doing the course?  I am doing it online and the self-motivation can get pretty tough at times, but know I need to knuckle down or I will struggle! Good luck with where you're up to! :)

Hey Everyone

I am hoping to enrol for the July intake at the Logan campus.
I've sent my application in (yesterday) so now I just wait for the email back.

Does anyone know what textbooks are required in Sem 1 ?

hey guys!

sorry for the late reply ive been run off my feet with assignments and study! been going ok its coming up to another week of placement soon and i can't wait to go back. I did the first two weeks of placement for this semester in a surgical ward at the hospital and loved it! Going back there for one more weeks placement in the last week of june for our last week of this semester. there have been a lot of stuff arounds and changes with tafe this semester and i believe that these changes has hindered our study but my class is still trying to power through! but it has seriously made me start questioning as to my mode of study. if anyone has any information or thoughts on experiences with tafe or other campuses that allow study to be online and distance study for nursing can you guys please give me some info and feedback as like i said i am seriously considering it!

on a good note i hope you guys are all doing well!
