Hello
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Rachael and I am 30 years old and recently started my div 2 course. I started in February and i really enjoy it. However I am finding the Anatomy hard. Has anyone got any handy tips that they can give me to help me remember everything.
I cant get my head around the different tissues and active passive transport. Also How the neuron works. If anyone could help me or perhaps we can study together on msn it would be greatful. Thanks

Welcome Rachael and congrats on embarking on your new career!

I have replied to you in the other post as well so my msn info is in there.

I am still finding my way through this as well but I can suggest creating flashcards for study aids. They are helpful cos creating them alone is study, then using them for revision helps. You can use your own wording and its in point form so its easier to digest.
Also your uni/tafe might have a dept that offer sessions on how to study for an exam/how to write assignments etc. You could also try that option.
I tend to read a bit, then write a bit and try to use words I understand. Decode the big scientific words somewhat..to make it sink in. I also do practice tests too. Your textbooks may have CD roms with those and also links to great websites.
www.anatomyandphysiology.com.au is a great one I use.

Dont worry, it's all a bit much at first, but you'll get there. It takes time.

Good luck.
