Hello,
I am currently a first year nursing student through CQU. I want to switch to the diploma. I am currently in the process of doing this. I have submitted my course transfer application and all going well will start in two weeks!
The thing is my husband and i are trying for a baby at the moment. Being pregnant during the degree seems to be fine with my uni. I am a distance student and could easily work my units around a pregnancy/baby.
If i start the diploma i am worried that we will need to stop trying. It will also be done distance but i will have residential schools 3 days per month plus placement in May and November.
Has anyone done the diploma of nursing while pregnant? I am nearly 33 and this will be our last child so i don't want to put it off. But i don't want to put off the course either!
