Hi Kylie,
I am the Health Portfolio Manager for e3Learning and we run the Nurse Training Online site so I thought I would respond to your query! NTO was created so health professionals can access online training to continually professionally develop. The Infection Control subject you refer to there mapped to an accredited unit of competency but remember, as we are not an RTO, you would need to get the formal qualification from an RTO. We are the theory component if you like. If you were undertaking a formal qualification and you have done this course online, the RTO may give you RPL.
If you register with NTO you will automatically get access to a free course "Hand Hygiene Australia" that is a Nationally recognised course. This will give you the look and feel of our courses and we would love to hear your feedback.
You asked if employers like these online courses, yes they definitely do. Currently we have 1.2 million users and we have a large number of aged care providers that use our courses to assist with staff education and accreditation requirements.
We value your opinion so if you would like to do this on the forum or contact me directly you are most welcome. Tanya.Critchlow@e3learning.com.au
