Hey All,

I trust your having a great evening :-)

I was wondering, does anyone have copies of the necessary books needed for the Cert 3. I cant get into any courses untill July, and just want to go into this with as much knowlege as I can.

Hi Zak,
I would reccomend "The Australian Carer" by Helen Croft. It's not actually a official textbook for the Cert 3, but I found it very helpful for the course, it was reccomended to me by the teacher. Its quite expensive, but worth it, IMHO.

Hi Zak.
The Australia Carer was a great help to me while I was doing my cert 3 and even now I go back to it.. I bought my copy through Fishpond .com.au I paid $65. and delivery free in Australia.

Gizjiz OMG I LOVE YOU........ I usually get emailed updates here, but this one didnt get to me, however.... I went to fishpond as you suggested, and they never appear in Google searches, however, my school requires me to get the book
Long Term Care Assisting, its around $80-$85 everywhere, fishpond had it for $40 YAY I also got the other two books I needed that I asked if people wanted to sell, the whole 3 for $136.00 rather then $275,50 if i went to a book store.

Thanks for the advise, your a star, I hope everyone else here knows of it....
