Hi All,

I am a litle lost and no one can seem to answer this.

I am about to move away to my Cert 3 in Aged Care. I will do this through TAFE.

I am confused as to why one TAFE has the course for 3 months full time and the other TAFE has it for 12 months Full TIme? Both TAFE colleges offer the Certificate 3, and the later is not the cert 5. Just curious as all the outlines seem to be the same........

ANy suggestions would be great as I want to move to the area where they offer the 12mth, but if it can be done in 3, it would be better

Hi Zak,
Go the 3 months full time. I did mine in that time and couldn't imagine how they could stretch it to 12 months.

Lost! How can you feel lost! I suggest buying a nice strong torch!

Zac, I guess the 12 months course if aimed at the international student who wants to take plenty of time to complete one course before they embark on their next marathon text book session!

I suggest you go for the shorter course, it is likely you will learn just the same as what you would learn in the longer course without loosing any patients/patience!

I'm doing the caeers change thing too! Cant wait!
