Im studying my certificate 3 in aged and disability care, im a bit stumped on a few questions, they are;
1. What statutes affect the health services industry. List as many of these as you can.
1. Suggest 4 important standards you will need to adhere to in the health services industry.
2. What policies do you think enforce the responsibilities of others?
2. Identify the different sectors in a community services environment.
2. Outline typical standards followed in a workplace. Thanks so much for any help in advance :)

Hello
I am also at a loss with a question in CertIII Work Effectively with Older People Unit (CHCAC18A)
Q6 Give an example when you may be required to discharge the duty of care in order to protect a person from harming themselves or from harming others. I am really struggling with this one. I thought it was against the law and there could be a law suit against you. Please help.

Hi Irish and everyone. As mentioned in a previous post, google is an excellent source of information, government health and local community web sites. were so helpful as reference books can be expensive. If you can get hold of a copy of the The Australian Carer by Helen Croft it becomes a bible to me. Are you doing your course on line or through Tafe or training college.
