Does anyone know if leaving a hoist sling under a resident causes pressure sores? We have to remove them from residents who sit in tub chairs and wheelchairs. I am finding it hard on my back getting it back in proper position under the resident to hoist them out. I have worked at other places where they leave it but remove from under the legs and tuck it to the side. Any comments would be great.
