Hi everyone! Anyone here studied aged care cert III online? I'm a mum of 2 kids and still want to have time with kids so thinking online study would be a good choice? Is ok to enrol seek learning? Thanks!

Hi, I have just completed my first 2 modules and have done my first aid. I started in class but couldn't concentrate so I am now doing it external. I was going to do it online but for me it is better having the book in my hands...everyone is different. Good luck with your studies...I too am a mum of two kids, 9 & 10. :-)

Hi I am a mum of three 7,4 and 6 months old, I ve enrolled with seek learning through TAFE in January and I working on my fith unit. I hoping to start work placement in June/ July. So far I ve enjoyed the course and with a young family studying online was my only option. I study mostly at night and during the day spend time with my kids organise the house and help with my husband with our business, with a busy life I needed to be flexible with my study time. Some days I might not be able to open my books, and at the moment with the school holidays it has been hard to study as at the end of the day I am  too tired , but studying online let me be a mum and with a family nothing never goes accorded to plan.Good luck, hope it ll help you.cindy

Hi, I have no children and live by myself so I am in a completely different circumstance to you. I found the first few modules especially the hardest, but then I started to find my feet a bit and by the end I finished the assignments in a few hours and that was me sitting infront of the tv doing it. I think once you get the gist of it, you find your rhythm and its not that bad, but like I said it's all about circumstance. My first two or three modules I found a bit of a struggle as I had had no real experience in aged care.

Hey Clint, in reply your institution should give you the learner guide and workbook... these course resources are why you are paying them!
