Hi there,

I have recently enrolled to do my cert 3 in aged care thru cengage and im stuck on a couple of questions in the second assignment- work effectively in the community sector. As im doing the course corrospondance im struggling to get help!! So if anyone can assist me it would be very much appreciated!!!

Q1-What policies can u find in the worksite to enforce the responsibility of others? and

Q2- List 5 customs attitudes & habits you may encounter when working with culturally diverse groups of people

Hi and welcome.. I don't what resources you have on hand to help you.. So as you are doing your through correspondence on line. You have access to the Internet. Again I mentioned in posts excellent source of info is your state gov health sites.. Your local council.. Google is great if you cant afford the reference books. I could type you the answer but no. I will try and just stear you in the right direction.. If you can get hold of a copy The Australian carer by Helen Croft. Aged care in Australia another goodie I beleave.

Hi i have also just started my cer3 in aged care and cert 3 in HACC. I was wondering if someone would be able to let me know where i could find legislation standards and laws that a service like meals on wheels would need to abide by. i have been checking out the meals on wheels web sites but coming up with nothing, any hints tips or good references would be great. thanks

Hi Kasey, have you tried the HACC Community Care Standards Guide?..Happy reading there is alot of material there but i think you will find what you need.Good luck

Hi Kasey,

Im also just started my cert III in aged care and struggling on similar questions as you. Are you studdying correspondence? would be good to have someone at the same point i am as i go through my study.

Hi I am a clinical nurse manager and am in charge of overseeing care certificate III in aged care holders delivery of care. One of my main concerns is their lack of knowledge of ACFI. Please can you tell me what information you receive on your course about ACFI?
