Hi everbody

have been looking at new ACFI on DOH&A website, and documentation is going to have to spot on ACCURATE! not saying that it is not now, but every little detail of a resident has to be documented. I hope that it will make the RNs paperwork easier, and that we all have a smooth changeover to this new funding instrument, even though it is not until March next year. There are 12 domains and the care under these domains is very very detailed.

Hello RotatorCuff

My current work with the Department will be implementing the ACFI from March next year. Rest assured that comprehensive training will start in aged care facilities within the next month or so.

Feel free to ask me any questions.

Hi Feistylady,

If you like to find out more info about this topic go to the department of health and ageing website. Lots of reading, and I am sure that PrincessDemonik would be able to give further explanation of things.

Thanks RC
