I am only a few units off finishing my Cert 3 in Aged Care. I have recently dropped my resume at many organizations in my area. I have had a phone call today requesting an interview! all very exciting, however, I am trying to be prepared for this on Monday. Can anyone give me examples on questions that maybe asked during the interview please. All help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi pooh65...
Congrats on getting a phone call for interview.. Yes exciting, When I did my cert 3 course we went through interview questions, like any job interview you will be asked basic questions..

Tell us about yourself,
What attracts you to do nursing / community care.
Questions about being a team player
How would you deal with conflict
Effective communication.. Ways on how you would go about educating a client on a healthier lifestyle.
How would you act for the client on their behalf..
Importance of documentation
Strengths and weaknesses.

Do some research on the organisation.. Be prepaired with your own questons too. Don't be nervous ," easy said then done I know..".

Good Luck..
