Hi I am a 26 year old registered nurse currently working in geriatric psychiatric nursing and I really would like to get back into acute care nursing. I have not completed a grad program since finishing my degree in 2007 due to traveling after I finished and I would really love to do one.
I am writing this to ask anyone out there if they know if someone in my situation would be able to do a grad program and how I would go about applying. I have been trying for months now to find an acute care refresher program but no hospitals out there are offering anything. I am really at my wits end with this as I am turned down from any job due to my lack of experience but I am not finding any opportunities out there to increase my experience. Is anyone able to help me??
