Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has done a course in Allied Health Assistance through TAFE or another provider and can tell me what it's like to study that area?
I have been looking into the Div 2 Nursing course through TAFE but stumbled across the Cert IV in AHA and it sounds like something i'd like to do before nursing as it may open up other doors into Physio, Chiro or OT.
My main concerns are whether the pay, once qualified, is ok as a second income earner and if there is a genuine need for AHA workers in Victoria or even other states. I dont really want to go do the course then realise there isnt much need and wish that I had done the Div 2 instead IYKWIM?
I wont be doing anything until start of next year so I have a little bit of time up my sleeve to keep researching but it would be really great if I could get some feedback from other AHA or people who have worked with them and know what they do within their job.
Thanks
