I am about to start a new job in general practice in which Venepuncture skills are required. My Dr voiced that she would teach me which didn't sit well with me as I thought you needed to actually pass a specific course to be able to perform venepuncture and basic blood collection.
Do I need to go through a proper venepuncture course or is she able to just teach me?
