Aug 04, 2016, 09:44 am Thank you for your forum posting. I went to nursing school and that science course was my second one in pre-nursing course work. It was just one big hard course, but then they divided it up into two courses which took two semesters. For your first semester, you will have lecture and lab. The first semester is pretty much vocabulary and definitions of those particular words. There are a few facts as well. The main thing that helped me is making flash cards and drawing pictures and also making a factoid list. Those things really helped me. Also, please keep up with the readings in lecture because my professor gave unannounced very short quizzes during lecture, but it was to help us learn the material. Another thing that helped me is a CD that came with the book that explained concepts. I hope that all of these things helped you. |

Aug 09, 2016, 01:09 am Anatomy and physiology is a really good course to take for several reasons. It allows the student to look at the body at a different light; more of a complex body systems approach. It also allows students to understand the healthy parts of the body, when complications occur, and why they occur. The best advice that I can give you is to buy or rent a CD on anatomy and physiology and it will show you every body system in the CD, it will go over the parts of the system, and what the functions are. It also gives you a test too. I hope this helps. |
