You can do trainseeship thru RMIT and Kangan tafe. I think a few other places offer it also, Mayfeild training and I saw add in newspaper about ANF running a traineeship.

Good luck finding one

Hi,

I am in the application process for a Div 2 Traineeship through Apprenticeships Plus who then send you to study at ACU if sucessful.

I think with Apprenticeships plus you can't have a level 3 cert or higher for them to place you in the course, but ACU do run traineeships for those who have PCA quals.

You just need to have a training contract with your employer (Aged care facility, or Acute care or Hosp) and work a minimum of 15 hours a week and one day a week in class.

Mayfield have a traineeship but it is about $10,000 if you don't get a funded spot (which is hard to do).

Vic uni, RMIT and TAFE's also run the course.

Good luck!

Good luck
