Hi, just wondering if anyone knows how many days a week u are usually on placement when doing the EEN diploma? Or can anyone tell me how many days a week they did on placement each term so far?

I think it depends on where you study but usually its 2 week blocks.

Different TAFEs or Institutions, different format, best ask directly.

I'm studying through BNIT in conjunction with Holy Spirit Hospital and my placement is one day a week for the duration of my course. I like it this way as I'm still able to work while studying and don't have to worry about taking time off work to do blocks of placement. It's also good because I'm exposed to alot more on the wards though it is hard in a way because it's only one day at a time so you have little time to get to know your patient and you can't follow them through thier stay. I believe a few hospitals in Brisbane have a similar set up to the way I'm studying, Mater and Greenslopes come to mind. That's always an option to look into for you anyway.

Different education providers are different.

I do mine through Tafe SA and i do mine 4 days a week for 4 weeks in Aged Care then 4 days a week for 6 weeks in a hospital.
