I have been a Div 2 radiology nurse for ten years I was the nurse leader assisting the radiologist to perfom patient procedures, attending patients needs ordering stock and always working within my scope of practice. When our company expanded recently the Div 1 nurses with the new company said that I needed to be supervised (for my own safety). I understand that this would be the case at practices where angios are perfomed and Div1's are required, I am resentful at this change in my work place as for years I was deemed competent to attend my patients and now I feel that view is no longer held. No one seems to really understand what a Div2 scope of practice is in this situation
