I've been given employment as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse Team Leader and literally have no idea what team leaders do...

During the interview, I told the person I was interviewing to that I had no experience and just recently graduated. They were fine with that and hired me! They said they will teach me during orientation but I still want a slight idea of what I'll be doing.

They said I will be delegating tasks when it comes to patient care and medication, liaising with the RN, etc. but I still don't want to go there unprepared...

Wow, that is such a great thing to hear that you have received a job offer.  Congratulations on your new nursing job.  I can remember when I received my first nursing job.  I was so excited and I felt that my dream of being a nurse has begun and started.  Basically, an endorsed enrolled nurse team leader is like a charge nurse or the nurse that is in charge of the nursing floor for that particular shift or for the day depending on how you set your hours on your nursing floor.  You will be delegating tasks to other RN's, LPN's, and CNA's.  It is important to always delegate a task that the nurse is able to do under your state practice laws.  For example, if your state says that LPN's cannot administer IV's, then the LPN should just only monitor the IV and the IV site.  The administrating of IV's should be given to the RN.  I wish you the best at your new job.  Congratulations.
