hi everyone
i have been in the fed gov most of my career. now about to turn 34 i am about to enrol into Cert III in aged care but want some advice and direction.
i want a career change as i have spent several years helping welfare reciepients and feel i can contribute to the community in more ways through care.
how do i get into nursing? I would love to eventually work at a hospital and care for patients but do i do cert III in aged care first? What comes after the Cert when this is done? Uni?
I work full time currently and have to enrol via correspondance only as i am on a rolling roster of mornings, afternoons and night shifts. so i cannot attend any tafe or uni.
hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
