Dear all,
I'm a nurse from China, took the trip to hongkong and got American nursing test done in July and I passed it--->NCLEX-RN test.
I need some advice on how should I choose the city and nursing school in Australia, since I'm planning to move to Australia next year.
Some information about me:
age: 27y education: diplomar in nursing , asscoiate degree in Japanese language
hometown: China/Shanghai
nursing work experience: half year
interpreter work experience: 4 years (I speak Chinese, English and Japanese)
Insurance company, claims handler (Medical insurance): 2 years
Thank you so much!
If I can make it, I will write a book named "Becoming a nurse..."
:-)
Thanks
Susu

Hi Susu,

I think when it comes to choosing where you live that really comes down to what you like. Do you like cool weather or warm weather? Big cities or quiet more rural areas? If you like big cities then I'd definately say either Sydney or Melbourne. Compared to other cities in Australia they are the biggest ( although I'm sure they must be tiny compared to places like Tokyo or New York!). If you like a cooler climate then the southern end of Australia would be better suited (although I was amazed how hot Adelaide can get the first time I went). The northern end tends to be more hot and humid, so if that's what you like go north.

Hope this is of some assistance.

Steph.
