Hi,
I've just started by Bachelor of Nursing and have an assignment to research but having some trouble so was hoping that some EN's or RN's could could me some starting points.
My topic is blood pressure measurement, and finding reasons as to why a nurse may need to perform or not perform a blood pressure measurement at specific times or in certains ways for different people in one or more of the different settings a nurse may work in.
I'm having trouble finding any straight forward journal articles about this topic, so was hoping that some experience nurses out there can give me examples.
Any suggestions to give me a head start would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Whenever I had an assigment to do the first thing I did was go straight to the library and get every book I could find on the essay topic - not just journals. Go through them and work out what important points you need to dicuss, and it should all come together. You cant really do an assignment properly without doing lots of reading to get you started.

Have you been given any links to trusted websites for assignment research? We were given a list when we started.

Also dont be afraid to approach the lecturer for help.
