Hi, I have been a registered div 1 since 2007 but due to illness I did maybe 2 weeks of a grad year my first year out, was able to return to work in 2008 and did 4-5 months of a general grad program, then moved to a psych grad program which i did approximately 6 months of. I then had to leave again due to my illness. I am now recovered and wanting to return but am not sure of my options as I never completed a grad program and my experience is very minimal. I have almost been out of a nursing job for a year which means I could possible apply for a refresher program which i think i would greatly benefit from, but I am unsure of whether my lack of previous experience would prevent me from finding a position. I guess I am wondering if I would even be considered for a refresher program by employers or if my circumstances and lack of experience mean I should try to pursue a different profession? I would greatly appreciate some kind of advice. Thank you.
