Hi everyone.

Are there many other 2012 graduates who are still looking for a graduate year?  I am starting to lose hope as my applications for this year are starting come back as unsuccessful.

I graduated from a RN Degree (in Melbourne) last year and don't think I will even be considered for employment next year if I miss out this year.

Regards,

Greg

You will have to go the tough route my friend... Namely agency nursing and straight employment from a hospital.

Or you can try rural nursing, heard they are still hurting for people. But you must be prepared to move away from where you live right now.

Hi Greg

I feel for your situation which is not fair,  a lot of us are in the same boat, this is why I create a page for New Graduate Nurses who had a rough deal after their graduation, there is not enough New Graduate nursing positions were made available for graduates that sucks!..

Why don't you come support your colleagues who are like you and missed out. We have plans to get together and do something about it. We have a 'Graduate Network' meetings in Sydney if you can not make to those meetings you can contribute online by making comments and share your ideas. So you are not alone.

We also have petition going, you can sign up and leave your comments.
