I've been reading a bit about grad nurse programs and am a little confused. What is a grad nurse program and do you need to do one? Is it different from doing graduate study at uni? Ta!

A graduate nurse program is basically a transitional program for students to the working environment. It's not compulsery but from everyone i've spoken to its very benefiticial because their is more support for graduating students entering the working world. If you go straight into work their will be less of that support. Also a number of grad certificates and other post grad study i've seen say while it's not mandatory to have done a graduate program a l lot say that it's very highly reccomended. It's differnet to do post graduate study because your actually working full time or part time. I'm applying for my grad programs in Melbourne next year.
