Hi All,

I'm a Div 2 nurse in Melbourne and I just got accepted into the RN/Div1 course at Charles Sturt Uni via Distance. Hurray!

Anyone out there already study with CSU and can tell a little about what it's like?

My first Residential school will be at Bathurst in Feb, and I'd love to know if anyone else from Nurse Central will be there!

But mainly I'm just thrilled to have gotten in to the course! Yay, yay and yay!

Hope the Christmas madness isn't getting to you all.

Cheers,

Mara.

Hi Mara,

I'm at the end of my second year Bach of Nursing distance ed. I absolutely love CSU can't rave enough. They are so helpful and have always been their when I've needed guidance. In the scheme of things they also have an excellent reputation, which helps later on. I'm at a res school in April which is a shame, but would love to help you with any problems or questions. Don't be nervous on your first day (the beginning class is huge) don't worry and have a great time.

Keep in touch. Alexandra

Hi Alexandra,

Thanks for replying. :-)

I will also be at the Res School in April because I'm enrolled in BMS191 (I have an extra subject's credit, so that messes with my course structure a bit, and also means I have 3 res schools this year!).

I have heard so many good things about CSU, I'm very happy with my decision to go with them for this.

Thanks again, and I will definately be in touch with a question or two. At the moment, I'm just worrying about travel arrangements!

Well Mara, travel safely, hope to see you in April 0ver lunch maybe. I'm doing psychosocial nursing and probably another BMS this semester. I actually love the BMS subjects, and the pharmaceutical content its so interesting. Hope you enjoy it, I'm here if you need anything

Dear Nursemum and Mara, Why don't you both go on to the Bachelor of Nursing forum on our CSU site, we can all talk there regardless of what year we are in. My email is douglas2@cirruscomms,com.au hope to hear from you both, subjects are beginning to download now, how many have you both taken on. I'm getting into it this year taking on six. I'll have a longer res school now.

Catch up soon, I'll look out for you on the CSU forum too

Hi Alexandra

I have tried to log into CSU but to no avail. I am doing mine through CDU. They are totally separate Uni's. There is a Facebook website that there are heaps of external and internal students on.

my address is nursemum1@hotmail.com and my username in facebook is nursemum.

Hope to hear from you soon.

take care

cindy
