Hi everyone I would really appreciate some help!

I am a kiwi who is applying to study for the Dual Degree in Nursing & Midwifery at UQ in Brisbane. The reason I want to do it in Aus over NZ is simple, I can't do a dual degree in NZ and I also plan to live in Aus when I'm finished study anyway so thought it might be best to have a degree from there.
Basically, I would love some information about it if anyone could help me. Info like how full on are the first and second years of study? Will I be able to work while I study in the first years (I understand I may find it difficult to work while in the third and forth years). Because I am from NZ I have to pay my fees upfront so having a job to support me living there is obviously quite important!
Also, will this degree see me as a Registered Nurse at the end of it? Or does that require more study? Can I use that degree in other countries like NZ?
Sorry to write a novel but I am making some pretty big life decisions and would really value any information at all. I have the entry requirements for it but is it really hard to get into there? In NZ it is really competitve and I was lucky to be accepted into both Midwifery and Nursing courses here (though I would have to choose only one to do). Thanks heaps!!! :)

Sorry one more thing! What do all the divisions mean? If I did straight out nursing would I work at a higher Division then if I do the dual degree?
