I'm 36, and always wanted to be a nurse.
Applied through VTAC months ago, sat my STAT.
Went back into the website today, and 'what apears down the bottom within obscure letters'.? It is a link, that is not on the universities website.
The application dates are now closed! : (
Spent hours reading, and re-reading websites. I am so upset. : (
I had started winding down my business and started getting myself prepared. Deflated is an understatement!!

Your post does not make a great deal of sense, can you provide more info, especially with regards to "Went back into the website today, and 'what apears down the bottom within obscure letters'.? It is a link, that is not on the universities website."

When you log into myinfo on the vtac website can you not see your original application receipt in the Course Application & Information section? If you actually put an application in then presumbly it should still be valid and viewable on vtac and you should just be waiting like everybody else for an offer in January. Sounds like you need to contact vtact and ask what is going on if your application is no longer visible in myinfo.

Also, application dates are not completely closed - you can make an 'very late' application up intil 5pm 11th December.

Deakin has a supplimentary application form that I needed to fill in. The closing date was last Friday. ; (

ah yes, I had to fill in that form as well. Also had to do one for Holmsglen if I recall correctly.

Perhaps it would be worth contacting Deakin to see if they will let you send them then info direct this week. I am sure you would not be the only one who missed the date.

Did you apply anywhere else? If Deakin are no help then it might be worth changing your preferences?
