Hi all I am currently in my first year of Div 1 at La Trobe Uni and am looking into transferring at the end of the year. Just wondering if anybody is studying at any of these uni's (JCU, CQU, USC) and if you recommend any of them.

Hi Nic,

any reason why you want to transfer from La Trobe?

I was doing a BA there and i found it to be very unsupportive..

But i had thought the nursing department would be better

cheers

Hi Nalan,

Mostly I want to transfer because we want to relocate and there is no La Trobe where we want to move to. La Trobe is ok, this years nursing is different to what they have done in previous years. It seems a bit like the program is still being developed, so it may improve next year, but at the moment we all feel a bit like guinea pigs. It is different to what I expected, although I don't know where I got my expectations from. Don't know if that answered your questiones or not, sorry. :)

Hey Nic

thanks for the reply

i understand where you are coming from, i think the UNi is changing most of the programs, that is what they were doing with BA subjects as well, which made it very hard for the students to focus.

Glad your experience was not too bad

xoxo good luck with the nursing

Nala
