jersey (offline) Joined: Jun 2012 Location: Posts: 1	Thu Jun 07, 2012 9:06 am Im planning to enrol into Nursing next year and would like to complete the STEPS program at CQU to increase my chances of being accepted into Nursing. On their website they say you need to complete 4 subjects (1 core and 3 electives). I filled in the test for being accepted into STEPS and was told that if I pass another test in computing than I can get an exemption which I did and was successful. Now I got my paperwork and I still need to do 4 subjects...so what was the point of passing the computing test?!? Has anyone else been through something similar? What subjects did you study for Nursing? Thanks!

elishatony (offline) Joined: Jun 2012 Location: Posts: 1	Jun 13, 2012, 10:25 pm What rank did you have? Are you applying through QTAC or directly through CQU. QTAC seems to be the better option as they give you a rank from experience also. I have previously completed a few subjects through Open University one being a Psychology subject and the others Introductions to University learning which are really great and prepare you for study. The entrance rank is pretty low for CQU 65 rank.
