Filling in Learning Book and wondering on some views on a Q. ' Outline what strategies you would use to deal with a difficult client whilst on a home visit ' needs to be referenced. First timer, looking forward to your views.

hmmm.. well thats hard then if they have left it that open. Don't know if i can be much help... but if they are difficult from the point of view that they are unco-operative... you need to try and get your communication going to establish why they are being difficult... and try and compromise... for eg.. they might be difficult because you are trying to shower them and they dont think they require your assistance.... In this case... you would hold back a bit and encourage them to do as much as they can... or another example could be changing a wound dressing.... explain why u need to perform the task for them....
Hope ive been some help....
Although... if you need references... you will need to either google it... or go to your library and try n track down some books on home care.. there should be plenty out there about dealing with certain scenarios in the home setting
