Well, I'm still waiting to enrol and I tell you, it can't come quick enough!! I just want to get started :o)

I'll be doing Div 2 part-time at RMIT (Bundoora), I enrol on Feb 11th and start Feb 16th. I'm so excited! My 2 oldest boys return to school on Feb 2 so I will have 2 weeks to make sure they have settled in to the year OK before I start, and my little boy has just started 2 days a week at child care so we're all ready to go.

I look forward to sharing the journey. Good luck :o)

Hi Deancey - congrats on the offer! I can't believe that I have come across this trying to google some info about Nursing booklists, I previously seen you were applying for Div 2 on another (baby) website but hadnt heard back then if you got your offer.

Jaydee - I was also offered a place at RMIT Bundoora (FT via VTAC). They said I could chosse either FT or PT (as I applied for PT too), but I have decided to try and do it in one year so wish me luck! My 2 boys are starting creche FT on 2nd Feb and I start 9th Feb so one week to get organised and settle my youngest (only 6 months - not sure I'm ready to part with him yet!!). I enrol tomorrow and cant wait to find out more info. If I think its too much FT after tomorrow, I'll look at changing to PT.

I would love to hear from anyone who studied full time with kids, or in general what the home work load is like if studying Full Time.
Belinda.

Hi Jaydee,

I ended up accepting the part time offer, so I should see you on the 11th at enrolment.

Hi Belinda,

Sounds like you made the right decision. I read your other post about doing full time or part time and honestly, I don't know how other Mum's do it! I have 2 boys at school already and a 2 yr old boy at home and 2 days per week is all I can fit in. My Hubby also runs his own business so I do the bookwork for him as well as pretty much take care of everything else. I also chose part time because I want to be able to allow time to really absorb what we are learning, I don't want to rush every assignment or freak out when an exam is looming and I've had no chance to study. I'm looking forward to starting soon.

So, I'll see you on the 11th then :o)
